A very useful seeming, not-enabled-by-default little setting in iOS 8. If you use “Find my x” (where x is an iDevice like an iPhone or iPad) I don’t know why you wouldn’t want to turn this on.

Settings > iCloud > Find my x > Send last location

“Automatically send the location of this x to Apple when the battery is critically low”
